Once, there lived in old scientist. His name was Newton. Although he was old he continued his experiment on several fields. His house was a two storeyed building. The upstairs was his laboratory.
He spend most of time in the laboratory doing observations and experiments. He normally forgot his ordinary matters while doing experiments.
One day, he began to do an experiment. He spent whole day involving that, forgetting all other ordinary things. On that day, he had not taken his lunch and dinner. Throughout the night too, he was experimenting upon something very much important.
His wife was waiting for him downstairs until he came to take his meals. She felt very sorry for him. She took an egg and stepped upstairs.
"I took an egg. Shall I boil it for you ?" She said. "No, leave it there. I'll boil it my self", he replied. Then the wife switched on the hot plate and placed a pot of water on it.
"Don't boil it more than five minutes", she said leaving the room.
Then, Newton took his watch out of his pocket. After a few minutes, his wife came in to his room again. She saw that Newton was standing by the pot of boiling water keeping the egg on his palm. She peeped into the pot and she was amazed to see that his watch being boiled in the pot instead of the egg.
